League Ahead on show at RLPA’s ‘Leaders in League’

League Ahead was proud to take part in the Rugby League Players Association (RLPA) 'Leaders in League' Conference, an inspiring gathering of players and stakeholders from across the NRL and NRLW.

With representatives from every club in attendance, the room was filled with experience, leadership and a genuine commitment to shaping the future of rugby league. It provided the perfect stage for League Ahead to unveil our brand launch video and formally share our vision for the 2026 season and the years beyond.

Our vision is simple but ambitious: to strengthen the support systems around players, empower them off the field, and build programs that evolve with the modern demands of elite sport.

We opened the floor to collaboration, inviting honest feedback, ideas and challenges from the players themselves and the response was overwhelmingly positive. Through sharing insights and lived experiences, the conversation was practical, grounded and most importantly: player driven.

Nathan Lyon On The Panel At Leaders In League Conference

The conference also featured a keynote from Australian cricketer Nathan Lyon, who shared powerful reflections on balancing life as an elite athlete with simply being himself. Highlighting the importance of switching off, maintaining perspective and building an identity beyond performance. His honesty and humility resonated strongly with the group and reinforced many of the themes central to League Ahead’s purpose.

The Leaders in League Conference proved to be a resounding success, not just in the unveiling of our brand launch and vision, but in the meaningful conversations and connections formed. We leave energised, aligned and excited for what lies ahead in 2026 and beyond.
